Casa del Agua offers a unique opportunity to try colonial living. Casa del Agua is owned and run by a womens co-op. Our ladies hail from one of the poorest barrios (suburbs) of Granada. With some help of the property owner Gerry, it gives a unique mix of Irish hospitality and Nicaraguan flavour.
We cater to the globetrotting adventurer and the savvy tourist. Our self-catering guesthouse is perfect for the family and the budget traveler. Our accommodations are clean and spacious. Our location is within a stones throw of Central Park, yet we offer a tranquil night’s rest from the hustle and bustle of central Granada. After a busy day you can rest your weary limbs and take a refreshing dip in our crystal clear pool.
We also like to give back to the community and in association with Education Plus, we sponsor many trips for the less-fortunate children of Granada.
Our staff would like to welcome you to their country. They hope you enjoy the textured history, the blended culture, the stunning eco-tourism and the warmth of the Nicaraguan people.
So while you are enjoying everything Nicaragua has to offer…the best tobacco, great rum, fine chocolate, sizzling sun and sleepy siestas!
We hope you can come to your “home from home” which is affordable and comfortable and have an enjoyable stay with us.
